The promises of God are not automatic! Abraham received the promise [from the one who cannot lie] for the land and the children, but then he was thrown into the test before the promises manifested.
The promises of God are not automatic, we don’t get to set by and wait for them to happen. Most of the time God expects us to start declaring over ourselves what God has promised us i.e. “Abram’s name was changed to Abraham [father of many] and every time he introduced himself he had to say, “Hi, my name is Abraham [the father of many]. He had to declare that he had many descendants before he had any!
Abraham’s son Isaac had the promise of many descendants and the testimony of his barren mother conceiving and birthing a miracle baby boy, [himself]! Yet he and his wife Rebecca could not get prego…Rebecca was barren and thus they were thrown into the test before the promise manifested.
The promises of God are not automatic, we have to appropriate them! Isaac and Rebecca appropriated their promise, “for children,” by crying out to God and reminding Him of His promise to them. They believed God’s promised word to them! They did a little devil butt kicking and took their promise out of his hands.
I want to pray for those of you who have received a Promise/Word from God and then you have been hurled into the test…
You have been so beat up, wounded, and disappointed that you have either, almost given up, or you have given up on ever receiving the promise. You even began to get confused, so you started to accuse. You may have even accused God of not caring or lying.
I release you from those lying attacks of the enemy. I wash all doubt, fear, and unbelief off of you. Where you have been vomited on by the enemy I wash you by the water of the Word of God. I destroy all curses that were spoken or placed on you, including words you may have spoken, as well as generational assignments and ungodly life patterns.
I declare life into every dead womb and every dead promise. If you want children and have not been able to have them, I declare the curse of bareness destroyed and children born through your womb!
I declare that you will live and not die. I declare the miracle of God released at all levels and areas to carry, sustain, and deliver the promises of the Father to you, “Now, at my word, my prayer, and my faith, not yours.”
God’s plan for you is not failure or frustration. His plans for you are for hope, expectation, and a joyous future. Please share your testimonies with me. I love to celebrate your victories!!!! ~Pastor Carl
